IN CHAIN LOGISTICS has the status of Bonded Warehouse, Temporary Storage Warehouse and Export since August 2010. Since the beginning of 2011 to have the CHAIN ECONOMIC OPERATOR AUTHORIZED Certificate - Customs Simplifications / Security and Protection (AEOF) and is implementing the process of Quality Certification based on the NP EN ISO 9001_2008.

WHAT IS AN AUTHORISED ECONOMIC OPERATOR
- AEO?

According to the legal definition of the Community Customs Code (CCC) means a trader "a person who, under its occupation, activities covered by customs legislation”

AUTHORIZED ECONOMIC OPERATOR STATUS

The Authorized Economic Operator (AEO - Authorised Economic Operator), appears in the European Union (EU) the need to establish a balance in terms of customs controls in order to ensure the harmonized implementation of these controls in all member states.

BACKGROUND:

> The implementation and observance of standards and criteria, with the aim of achieving a fair term between customs controls and facilitation of legitimate trade;
> The need to create mechanisms for efficient and effective defense against the risks and dangers inherent in them as terrorist acts;
> Addressing new business risk arising from these new dangers associated with that determined that the European Union also took measures to combat this new reality;
This way the Customs of the European Union, extended the scope of their traditional functions and implement measures to enhance performance through a more active role in security and protection in the defense of citizens and the fight against organized crime. Consequently, created the new concept of Authorised Economic Operators Regulation (EC) No 648/2005 of the European Parliament and the Council of 13 April, published in Official Journal L 117, 05.04.2005.
Subsequently, Regulation (EC) No 1875/2006 of 18 December, published in Official Journal L 360, 12.19.2006 regulated the granting of this status.






TO THIS STATUS MAY REPRESENT THREE TYPES OF CERTIFICATES:

1. AEO - Customs Simplifications (AEOC);
2. AEO - Security and Protection (AEOS);
3. AEO - Customs Simplifications / Security and Protection (AEOF).

IN CHAIN LOGISTICS, after evaluation of compliance with various requirements and criteria by the customs administration, could be regarded as a reliable and trustworthy operator, may benefit from several advantages throughout the European Union. The benefits and advantages of the status AEOF based specifically on reducing the risk level, a higher speed in the clearance of goods, reduced data set of summary declaration and fundamentally a reputation for quality.
